Make sure that you don't wait until the last minute. Things can and have happened to delay receipt by USPSA HQ of a signed slot with payment by the deadline. Once the deadline passes there is nothing that we can do. Mail your slot with payment as early as possible to make sure there is adequate time to correct any unexpected issues!

American Shooters will also be providing a free range pass (retail value: $20) to each shooter, so once you've registered feel free to stop in and dial in your gun!
4.4.1.1. Frangible targets must break with a visible piece missing or separated from the original target to be counted for score. A fixed frangible target that falls from a hit on its holder will be considered a hit.
Commentary: This rule was amended in an attempt to save time and lessen the possibility of excessive re-shoots.

Amend rule 9.1.4 Knock down style targets (i.e. poppers) must fall to score. Poppers will be calibrated using the proper calibration gun and ammo for the discipline being used on such targets

Multi-gun stage clearance procedures
Amend MG 8.3.6
In order to reduce stage clearance time, a Range Officer may be assigned to clear “abandoned” firearms at the Range Master’s discretion. After ensuring that the range is clear and no person is downrange of the abandoned firearm, the RO shall verify that the abandoned firearm is in a legal abandoned state (eg, properly positioned, and safety-on or empty as appropriate per MG 10.5.3). Upon verifying the condition, the RO may clear the firearm and transport the cleared firearm to a rack or other location behind the line. The Range Officer is responsible for the safe handling of the firearm during this process, including (but not limited to) muzzle direction.

Upon verifying the condition, the RO may clear the firearm and transport the cleared firearm to a rack or other location behind the firing line. In such cases, the competitor’s delegate must be entitled to accompany the official responsible for clearing abandoned firearms. Delegates will verify the initial safe condition of the abandoned firearm(s). Competitors must be advised of this procedure during the stage briefing in order to select a delegate.
Commentary: This amendment was added to speed up stage clearance time to ensure matches will run on schedule.
A) The match fee goes up to $300 on March 5th. Hurry and get your applications in early to avoid the higher price!
B) There are still spots for Range Officers who would like to shoot the staff match. Apply with a regular application soon! The staff match has limited slots available so hurry if you'd like to shoot!
C) Once again, this match is being scored using Time Plus. Please direct questions regarding this change to MD Carl Schmidt.
There is a $10 fee to register on the wait list. That fee will be handled in one of the following ways:
1) If you are offered a slot the $10 will be deducted from your entry fee.
2) If you are offered a slot but decline it, the $10 will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project on October 22nd, 2012.
3) If you are not offered a slot we will donate $10 on your behalf to the Wounded Warrior Project on October 22nd, 2012. You may opt out of this donation if you choose by requesting a refund of the $10 fee, in writing, by the donation date of October 22nd, 2012.

Squadding
We will be using self squadding for the matches this year. Competitors will go to http://www.uspsa.org/squadding , click on the link for the appropriate match and squad themselves there. You may use either your PIN (from your Front Sight label) or personal password set in your profile to select your squad. In order for your PIN or personal profile password to work, you must be registered with your correct USPSA member number.
Refund Policy
USPSA will charge a $75 cancellation fee on all refund requests received in Burlington on or before Sept. 14, 2012; the cancellation fee will be 50% of the match fee if the request is received after Sept. 14, 2012. Requests for refunds received after Oct. 13 for LPR and October 17 for OL10 will not be granted. Refund requests MUST be made via U.S. Mail, fax or email. Refund requests cannot be processed over the phone.
