The USPSA Championship Matches are the premiere practical shooting events in
the world. 3-Gun competition in particular has experienced explosive growth
in recent years, evolving into "multi-gun" competitions where shooters use
two or three firearm types within a single stage.***SPECIAL NOTICE***
A seminar to help Range Officers working the Multi Gun Nationals achieve a Multi-Gun Certification is being planned at this year’s MG Nationals in Louisiana. Carl Schmidt (RMI) will be conducting this 4 hour class at the Rodeway Inn and Suites in Bossier City on Thursday, October 2nd at 1:00PM. USPSA has set a special ½ price fee of $25.00 for MG Nationals ROs and staff taking this class.
If you would like to participate in this class or have any questions concerning Multi-Gun Certification please notify Carl at cschmidt@starband.net
After checking to make sure the system is intact, we have begun bulk releasing slots to the waiting list. If you are offered a slot an email will be sent to the account you provided, and notice will be put on your member page. Be sure to check your page *even* if you didn't receive an email. Email is not 100% reliable and is not guaranteed to find your inbox. Slots will only be on offer for 3 days. If you do not claim the slot by paying for it, your name will be withdrawn and there will be no way to put it back on the list in the spot you held.
We are proud to announce a technological convenience which we've added to this year's Back-to-back nationals. The Palm Scoring system will enable us to post standings with regular updates throughout the day. These will be displayed on monitors in the vendor tent, so be sure you stop by to check your scores!
We still need volunteers for the Multi-Gun match Oct. 3-5 in Louisiana.
If you are interested in helping to RO, CRO or another job, please download and complete the Match Staff Application located here in .doc format and here in .PDF format and return it by email to matt at uspsa.org or mail it to:

The June 2nd deadline for slots is fast approaching. All slots were mailed at the end of February. If you accepted a slot offer and have not received your slot, please call Matt at the USPSA office immediately to find out what happened. There is still time to turn around the slot through the mail, and we want to see you in Tulsa. Any slots not returned by June 2nd WILL be voided and distributed through the wait list, no exceptions. Not even for clerical errors on our part or personal hardship on yours. It is your responsibility to bring this to our attention because we have no way of knowing that you didn't receive your slot. Tell your buddies to get on the ball if they are waiting patiently for the mailman each day. It should have been there by now!
Thanks for your cooperation and we'll see you on the range!
This year the wait list will open at 12:01am, Eastern Daylight Time, on May 26th. Those who wish to stay up to enter themselves on the list that night, thus insuring a low number and high slot probability, will not have the option of paying the wait list fee at that time. The entry will be recorded in the order in which it was posted to the system, an acknowledgement email will be sent, and a notice will be added to the member’s online classification record.
That person’s place on the wait list will be held until June 2nd. It will be their responsibility to return to the web page sometime between May 27th and June 1st using either the link included in the email or shown as part of the classification record to pay the $25 wait list fee.
Failure to pay the fee within the generous time period reserved for that purpose will result in that member’s name being removed from the wait list. Everyone who signed up later who paid their fees will move up on the list at least one place.
Please note that this procedure applies only to those who enter their information on the wait list during the first few hours it is open. All others will be given a link that will take them to the wait list fee payment area immediately after entering their information on the list. The effect of this procedure will be to spread the server activity over a longer time period, thereby avoiding the sudden surge in processing demand that created problems in 2007.
Returning to the web page and paying the fee is the member’s responsibility. There will be no exceptions. If for any reason the fee is not paid during the specified period the record will be removed from the wait list. There can be no appeal.
The purpose of providing this information here is to give a "heads up" so that the change won't come as a surprise in the early hours of May 26th. There will be step-by-step instructions leading members through the process when they enter their information on the Nationals wait list page.
Good luck and we hope to see you in Tulsa!
